How to Read Any Golf Ball Flight from Start Line to Finish

Golf shot shapes become easier to understand when you stop judging them only by where the ball lands. A ball finishing right of the target could have started left and sliced across the target, started straight and curved right, or started right and stayed there. Those are different flights, even if all three finish in the same rough.
Use three observations:
- Where did the ball start relative to the intended target line?
- Which way did it curve?
