Mill Creek’s North Course reopened October 10, 2026; the South remained closed in the October 12 report

Mill Creek Golf Course’s North Course in Boardman, Ohio, reopened October 10, 2026, after the July storm closure. The South Course and practice range were still closed in WKBN’s reopening report, updated October 12. Plan around the North Course—not a full-facility reopening—and confirm conditions before traveling.

Which parts reopened?

The October 12 report identifies three reopened areas: the North Course, Indoor Player Development Center, and Hole #55 Bar & Grille. It does not announce a reopening date for the South Course or practice range. That matches the partial reopening described in Mill Creek MetroParks’ October 6 announcement.

If you saw the earlier “could reopen by mid-October” headline, that was a target, not confirmation. At the September 14 board meeting, executive director Aaron Young said the hope was to reopen West Golf Drive and the North Course by mid-October. WFMJ’s report did not promise a South Course reopening.

How should you book your round?

Use Mill Creek’s official tee-time service and select the North Course for your intended date. The operator’s standing facility page describes both 18-hole courses and their booking options; that description alone does not establish that both have reopened.

For a course-status check, call the golf shop at 330-740-7112. The facility is at 1 West Golf Drive, Boardman, OH 44512, according to the operator’s course page.

Before committing, ask:

  • Is the full North Course available on your date, and are carts operating with any restrictions?
  • Are there temporary routing changes or repair areas to avoid?
  • Has the practice range reopened, or should you plan without a range warm-up?
  • What green fee and cancellation or weather policy apply to your reservation?

The official booking terms, checked October 19, 2026, say the applicable rate is charged at check-in, singles and twosomes may be paired, and groups larger than four are not permitted.

What should you expect around storm repairs?

Golfers at the reopening were advised to avoid patchy areas where stumps had been removed and the ground filled in, according to WKBN’s October 12 report.

At check-in, get the day’s instructions on repair areas and cart access. Follow staff directions and posted restrictions.
