Orchard Valley announced a September 5 reopening with a two-week booking window

Orchard Valley Golf Course in Aurora, Illinois, announced a September 5, 2026 reopening, with tee times bookable up to two weeks before your round. The August 24 Chicago Tribune report attributed that date and booking window to Fox Valley Park District officials.

For a round now, start with the course’s official booking page and confirm availability for your date. The reopening announcement establishes the planned return, not today’s course conditions or available tee times.

How do you reserve a tee time?

The park district’s reopening announcement says you can reserve up to two weeks in advance, online through Orchard Valley’s website or by calling 630-907-0500.

If you want the senior rate, call the Golf Shop: the official booking page specifically directs senior bookings there. Before confirming any reservation, check the price, cancellation terms and player count shown for your selected time.

What does a round cost?

The course’s 2026 posted rates, checked October 24, 2026, include the green fee and golf cart. The official rate page lists:

Round or start time Monday–Thursday Friday–Sunday
Regular 18 holes $80 $110
Twilight, starting at 2 p.m. $50 $60
Nine holes, after noon $50 $60

Senior golfers aged 60 or older and juniors under 18 have posted rates of $60 Monday–Thursday and $70 Friday before noon; that category is listed as unavailable Saturday–Sunday.

Rates may vary by day, time and season, so use the amount offered for your actual reservation. If you choose twilight, ask how much golf you can reasonably finish before dark rather than treating the lower price as a promise of 18 holes.

What changed during the closure?

Orchard Valley closed in November 2024 for the $8.8 million infrastructure renovation. The park district’s announcement lists new irrigation, reconstructed and repositioned bunkers, refreshed and expanded greens, expanded tee boxes, new grass varieties, retaining-wall work and changes to selected cart paths.

A notable layout change for returning golfers is on hole 13: an expanded fairway adds a bailout area down the left side toward the green. The district says this provides a more manageable approach where players previously faced water on their second shot.

The older course overview still gives an anticipated summer 2026 completion. The later reopening announcement explains that wet July weather extended the grow-in period.

Before driving to 2411 West Illinois Avenue, Aurora, confirm your tee time and ask the Golf Shop about frost delays, cart restrictions and practice-facility access. For your overall schedule, use our round-time planning guide, then add travel, check-in and warm-up time.
